If you are having a problem with loading recharge card or checking your account balance on your blackberry device, then this is for you.
Usually, when you try to load or check your account balance using USSD codes like *556# (in the case of MTN), instead of your phone to display the result, it will dial the number instead, as if you're making a call. What happen is this, some blackberry devices have built-in CDMA technology (CDMA means Code Multiple Division Access) this is the kind of technology that phones like Visafone and Multilinks are using. If you've ever used any of those devices, then you will know that they do have a different method in which you can load recharge card on them.
THE FIX
There are several tutorials on how to fix this, but this is by far the simplest and straight forward.FIRST METHOD
Just go to your Sim menu option on your blackberry device, there you'll see all the options to load, check balance or transfer. If you want to load, just press on the "load recharge card" option, insert the pin and there you go.If you want to check balance, press on the menu for checking a balance and there you have it.
SECOND METHOD
The second method is to dial a random number (I recommend the network customer care line), while dialing the number, quickly go to your phone’s dial pad, type the recharge pin and send. Your account will be credited instantly. That's it.
